Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback on 1703-05 PROPERTIES LLC buildings reveals a mixed management experience. While some apartments boast cleanliness, quiet surroundings, and responsive supers who handle maintenance and pest control well, there are significant concerns about landlord interactions. Several renters report the landlord being rude, uncommunicative, and slow to address critical issues like heating and appliance repairs. Garbage management and building infrastructure receive varied comments, with occasional difficulties noted. Prospective tenants should expect well-maintained spaces but be prepared for potential challenges in dealing directly with the landlord, who may be less responsive and harder to communicate with consistently.

WORST LANDLORD IN NYC

Pros

Neville (the super) is great

Cons

Roseann Paradiso-Fodera, the landlord, is the WORST landlord I've had in NYC in all my time living here. She lacks basic reading comprehension, frequently yells at you, and tries to bully you into not complaining. When we left the apartment, she at first said she would provide our security deposit back, but it took 50+ emails, calls, and a threat to sue before she finally provided it. It took FOUR MONTHS to get our security deposit back. She also took a month to give us a functioning refrigerator when it broke in July, and yelled at us for asking for some rent back as a result. She will ignore your calls and emails if you are asking for something. She also is unreliable and unhelpful if any issues with paying rent arise. The apartment, while appearing modern, is actually poorly constructed. Cabinet hinges frequently break. The door to the bathroom got stuck locked with someone inside.
