My literal hell

Pros

The rent was cheap…. Neighbors were cool.

Cons

Landlord is truly the meanest woman I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. She took every opportunity to talk down to me and berate me, constantly hostile. Our apartment had mice and she refused to do anything. She blamed us, gave us ancient mouse traps (that did not work), and said she just didn’t have the money. The place was filthy when we moved in (if you walked thru barefoot ur feet would turn black). We left the place much cleaner and she threw a tantrum picking apart nonissues, including being irate that we did not defrost the freezer. Something she never asked us to do and is not standard. Landlord is miserable and greedy and took it out on me every chance she had.

Advice to the owners

You’re a living nightmare. Work on that.
