Well maintained by Super, normal pre-war problems
Pros
Super works night and day to keep the place clean and maintained well Nice big units with many closets
Cons
Management difficult to get major things addressed ( but super will help escalate) Some neighbors throw trash out their window into inaccessible courtyard which causes concerns for rodents and just general WTF
Fine for the price
Pros
Rent is cheap and most units are rent stabilized. Mostly everyone is friendly, lots of dogs in the building. The super is very lax
Cons
Overall maintenance is poor. Elevator often broken, laundry room only accessible via elevator. Bugs and mice throughout the year. Water pressure in my specific unit has been incredibly low for two months and the super / landlord isn’t doing anything about it.
Advice to the owners
Fix the elevator, it’s becoming a real problem. Be more responsive. I know that each unit is dealing with their own personal issue due to your negligence
