Slumlords flipping building

Pros:
Looks nice, great neighborhood
Cons:
New owners are unscrupulous developers. We consistently don't have heat or hot water. They fired our long-time super and are incompetent to the point of negligence

Pros:
Very good location
Cons:
Landlord is AWFUL, super invasive, and rude. Is in the building constantly. Will let herself into your apartment without adequate notice (eg. will just knock on your door expecting to come in).
Landlord constantly breaks the law as a landlord, and doesn't care. Heat didn't work for almost 2 months in January and December - coldest months of the year.
Apartments have rising damp and the brick walls shed white stuff everywhere.
The Side entry door has a "Not in Use" sign on it, and has been that way for months.
Finishes in the building and apartments look nice, but are cheap and often break.
The front church door is extremely loud when it bangs shut, which everyone does when closing it
Have had multiple issues with AC and heat not working.
Advice to owner:
Be a nicer human being

Great location, Laundry on site
Cons:
Looks nice but very overpriced for what it is
Landlord - non-responsive, can be rude, condescending, no contact when things go wrong with the building
Security of building - front door doesn't close properly, landlord will not fix
Landlord will let themselves into your apartment without required notice
Advice to owner:
Fix things that are wrong in the building, premium price should equal premium service

Great building with some baggage

A very cool building that is unique and in a great location.
Cons:
Building owner is extremely difficult to deal with and aggressive. Enters apartment without notice or permission.
Advice to owner:
Tenants are your customers. Treat them appropriately.

I do not recommend moving into this building

Laundry on site
Super on site
Cons:
Building Security is compromised - front doors do not close properly
People think it's a church and constantly try to get in, and can as the front door does not close properly
Delivery people can never find the building cos they think it is a church, not apartment building
Noise between apartments
Pests in apartments and building
Landlord is constantly on the property
Landlord will go into your home without approval or your knowledge. Or tells the Super to let themselves in.
Landlord is terrible - Rude, is patronizing and treats you as though they are superior, poor communication
AC was completely broken for a week during a very hot summer. Landlord did not contact all tenants during this time, but will email about other far less important items.
Overpriced for what it is - not worth the prices
Some neighbors play very loud music




Advice to owner:
Fix the the front security doors so they close properly and the building is safe. Do not let yourself into peoples apartments, always give 24 hours notice and get approval before doing so. Contact tenants when there is an issue with the building.
