Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews indicate that buildings managed by Woodacre Management exhibit inconsistent management quality. While many residents appreciate spacious apartments and decent cleanliness, there are significant concerns regarding landlord responsiveness and pest control. Tenants frequently report poor maintenance response times and unresolved issues, particularly related to flooding, heating, and noisy neighbors. Some residents have praised the location and overall affordability, but many express frustration over management's negligence and inadequate support during problems. Overall, prospective renters should be prepared for potential maintenance challenges and a less-than-responsive management team.

Flooding issues whenever it rains

Pros

-Apartment was huge -Rent was affordable -Laundry in building -Dishwasher in unit

Cons

-Lots of issues with flooding when it rains -Landlord raised rent by 7% -Landlord's responsiveness is unpredictable and is more frequently irresponsive -Really noisy neighbors across the street who blast their music and shoot off fireworks

Former tenant·just now

Mouse issue not taken seriously

Pros

Clean, nice neighborhood

Cons

There was a mouse issue that the owner was severely negligent about. The in building washer dryer was also always broken and it took about 5 emails and calls from several residents for him to address it, only for him to give it a shoddy fix so that it broke again a few weeks later. Not only that but he increased the cost of the w/d even though the issues remained the same.
