Sad to leave this building!
Pros
Love my apartment in this building - it’s legit the most perfect location and the front facing units get so much light — and neighbors are respectful / can’t hear much when inside apt from other units. Super is nice, management sometimes takes a bit to get back to you on stuff but they’re not bad. Rent prices are insane so i have to move but if you’re looking at the building i recommend it! there’s a big closet in the bedroom and another in living area. bedroom big enough to fit king bed.
Cons
back facing units are dark / not much natural light. no dishwasher or washer dryer (but wouldn’t expect that in this area / for a smaller apt like this)
Advice to the owners
driving tenants out that have been living here for almost 10 years by raising the prices MAX that you’re able to is a shame — but that’s life guess.
Decent building, decent management
Pros
The location is excellent. The building is fairly quiet, although some neighbors can occasionally be noisy / pets will make lots of sounds. Management and building maintenance are reasonably responsive, and the exterminator comes around every month. Rent increases have been reasonable every year, although units feel slightly overpriced for what they are.
Cons
The halls, basement, and public spaces are sometimes dirty. In my unit the heat has been slightly on the weaker side, and the water pressure is also a little weak. Although maintenance is responsive, they tend to implement fairly hack-y fixes for issues - for example, they will paint over things instead of doing proper repairs. Package theft is an issue since packages are just dropped off in the entry way.
