Pros
Loved the location. It’s an 8 min walk to my partner.
Cons
It was freezing in the winter, especially since all three windows are not hung correctly & appear to be original single pane windows from the school & heat does not fall. It could only get to about 20 degrees warmer inside than it was outside with the heat blasting 24x7 & I needed space heaters to improve things further, even after sealing the windows with draft protection. My electric bill was avg $700 in the winter for a 560sqft 1 bed apartment. Additionally, windows don’t open fully which is a fire hazard. There’s the constant smell of mold in the apartment & I asked for help at move in w/ cleaning AC units bc they both needed a deep clean & filter clean & I was told by mgt to just reset the button on the panel. I had to clean mold from inside faucets from bathroom & kitchen. Cleaned mold from AC filters. Not sure how far in pipes the problem is. Shower only sent half water. Half water still in tub faucet. Regularly the water has sediment or is brown & needs to be flushed.
Advice to the owners
Replace the windows. Do a deep clean for mold. Bring in a plumber because you have problems.
