Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews of buildings managed by Tucker Shane reveal significant dissatisfaction regarding overall living conditions. Cleanliness and pest control are critically highlighted, with claims of rampant vermin and inadequate garbage management. Noise from nearby nightlife is a recurrent complaint, making it nearly impossible for residents to enjoy peaceful living. Owner responsiveness is seen as lacking, with delayed maintenance and unresolved complaints. While some reviews commend the convenient location, the consensus suggests that prospective renters should be cautious, as the management's neglect and high rent outweigh the benefits of residency in these buildings.

Reviews

Former tenant·just now

right next to clubs, people peeing at the door, rats running around the trash

Pros

super convenient next to the trains, LES is a great location

Cons

so. loud. you can feel the vibration of hotel chantelle in the building. if it’s not the club, its the street. you basically live on the highway to one of the busiest bridges. people always peeing, pooping, or throwing up in front of the entrance. interior of apartment is nice and honestly spacious for what it is, but bad experience. people also always steal packages, i stopped shipping stuff here.

Advice to the owners

install a better camera at the doorway, find a better way to manage the trash, install better windows in the apartments

Noisy and dirty

Pros

Location is close to so many cool and fun spots

Cons

The noise is nearly unbearable from the street and nearby bars/clubs. Not uncommon to step over vomit or feces to get into the building. Not to mention the content smell of pee downstairs.

Advice to the owners

Deep clean more often! More building security
