Typical nyc apartment
Pros
No mice, at least when I lived there 10 years ago
Cons
Management is a bit slow to respond. Walls are very thin. Lofted bedrooms get HOT

Noisy neighbors !!!
Pros
It was a beautiful unit, despite the rooms being tiny.
Cons
There is/was a bodega next door. They’d play music on an outdoor speaker and scream at each other for hours, often through the night. I once asked them to be more mindful and the woman who was frequently there/ the loudest of them all actually threatened me. And it just got worse after that. Luckily the lease was short and I slept out often.
