Big gorgeous apartments with good lighting, nice neighbors
Cons
Management (A&E) is a notorious slumlord. I’ve seen them ignore HORRIFIC tenant issues. Since the settlement/lawsuit they are getting a LOT better, though. Not sure if it will stick
Advice to the owners
Get your s*** together!!! Housing is a human right.
No one lives here for very long!

Spacious, relatively cheap, amazing location
Cons
I’ve struggled with extremely noisy, nasty neighbors for years. The building is constructed with paper (can hear conversations above and below me); poor window insulation; insufficient heating. Landlord is unresponsive and does not deal with complaints sent over email. I will be moving soon and contributing to the average stay of less than 3 years.
Advice to the owners
Read your emails. Respond to noise complaints. Discipline tenants who are not complying with the lease.
