Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews indicate that buildings managed by Todd Katz tend to offer well-maintained units with friendly neighbors and a sense of community, including annual events and proximity to local amenities. The management is generally seen as professional and responsive, especially the live-in super. However, tenants frequently mention significant rent hikes that may not align with the quality of the apartments, which causes concern about long-term affordability. Some issues such as occasional trash area cleanliness leading to pest problems and elevator outages have been noted. Overall, expect attentive management but be prepared for rising rents that could affect tenant retention.

Advice to the owners

Nice but overpriced.

Pros

The building is well maintained and the neighbors are friendly. The location is fantastic and the super very responsive.

Cons

Rent was raised $1000; unit was re-listed as a "luxury" apartment. It is a perfectly nice building but is definitely not luxury. Units are overpriced and management seemingly had no interest in retaining tenants.
