Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews of buildings managed by Andrew Arfe indicate a strong emphasis on cleanliness and responsive management. Residents commend the prompt attention of maintenance staff and the quality of amenities. However, there are concerns regarding high utility costs and occasional delays in addressing maintenance issues, particularly with heating and door access. Although many appreciate the community atmosphere and pest control measures, some have reported frustrations with construction quality and management responsiveness. Overall, while there are notable strengths, potential renters should be aware of variability in service and the possible high cost of living.

Great Place to Live

Pros

Building is always kept clean, the superintendent is extremely responsive and matters get dealt with quickly. Management is very responsive too.

Cons

Building is heavily surveillances, sometimes it’s crazy how quick they check cameras for any minor incident.

Great and modern Flatbush apartment

Pros

This building is well maintained and modern. I love the amenities like the gym and rooftop access, close proximity to the train and the neighborhood. Anytime I have an issue, the super is extremely responsive and I can expect issues to be resolved expeditiously.

Cons

The area can be a little bit noisy. Since I live on the 2nd level, I do hear some noise from the street. Also, tenants should be aware that everything is electric, so they should expect high utility bills. Every unit has their own hot water boiler and it runs 24/7. In the winter, the heating bills can be astronomically high.
