cheap rent but tons of roaches

cheap rent + access to good food + quiet neighbors
Cons:
there were so many roaches!! i tried everything ot get rid of them and management does not do much to help.

Quiet, elevator, garbage disposal on floor, laundry in basement
Cons:
Roaches, slow response to issues in apartment, lived there for almost 2 years and never got a parking spot in garage. Rent is $2000 for 1 bedroom with no amenities and unresolved issues

The neighbors are nice. The location, and stores around the apartment are a good walking distance from where we live.
Cons:
Poor communication with maintenance staff.

Old is not always gold

Cant ask for a better janitor! The guy is amazing!
Cons:
Very old apts with fingerwidth of pain on walls (covering lead based paint underneath), wood but 60-smth years old floors. Mold in bathroom that will outlive everyone even the current owners.
Advice to owner:
Invest in better renovations

Pleasant building to live in

Pros:
It’s fairly clean and I’ve had no problem at all with pests. Management brings in pest control every other week. Laundry room is also a big plus.
Cons:
No security cameras anywhere, packages get stolen often and there is nothing that can be done about it.
Advice to owner:
Put up cameras in lobby area

The roaches are insane

Pros:
My neighbors are all quiet and i rarely hear anyone.
Cons:
The roaches are crazy. I have never seen so many and they are everywhere. Its honestly disgusting and if I could break my lease I would.
Advice to owner:
They need better pest management. ASAP.

Budget Friendly Apartments

The building is very clean and there is a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts walking distance from the building.
Cons:
The neighbors are inconsiderate and the apartments are extremely old, with very thin walls.
Advice to owner:
Invest more in this property.

Relatively new tenant, so far so good

Pros:
Neighbors are quiet and everyone seems to keep to themselves. The maintenance staff in the building are friendly and helpful. They have an exterminator come periodically (without us having to call) to spray the building and apartments to prevent bugs. The laundry room is new and renovated and open 24/7 so I can do my laundry on nights i can’t sleep.
Cons:
The garbage and recycling is kept in the basement so there is a bit of a fly problem when it starts to pile up. Garbage pickup is Monday and Thursday so sometimes there is a pile up of recycling that attracts flies.
Advice to owner:
Maybe add a couple more recycling bins so there isn’t a backup on the floor and the tenants have more pins to put their stuff in.

Great place to live

Pros:
The building is essentially perfect, which decent management, and a great and friendly landlord.
Cons:
Some of the tenants that are on the same floor are a little noisy, but what can you expect from a family with seven kids. There is no laundry room.
Advice to owner:
No notes really.
