Could Be Worse
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartments are spacious. Great location. Controlling the central A/C and heat is great.
Cons:
Awful energy efficiency. We have a window that doesn't quite close and management refuses to address it. Recycling gathering can be pretty nasty in the elevators.
Advice to owner:
Empty the recycling more frequently.

Lots of rules but applied to everyone
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean outside and in lobby/hallways, shared laundry in every floor, shared recycling room on every floor, garbage chute, 24/7 doorman and can receive packages, no pest or rat issues, semi-timely Repairs if sent with reminders.
Cons:
No pets, lots of rules like no parties or more than 5 guests in the apartment, guests must sign in, no locking bikes up right outside. No moving furniture in (even a new mattress) without a moving company and you must put down a $800 cashiers check deposit and provide COI of movers to get approval from super.

Great building. Family friendly. Feels like home.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great building. Love the super and his family who are also doormen. Responsive, helpful, friendly. Never leaving!
Cons:
Some rats on the street (never in the building).
Advice to owner:
Keep on doing what you’re doing. A building-wide email chain would be great.

Great place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
On site building management was great, the trash was taken out often and was quick to respond to any issues that had risen.
Cons:
For the amount of units the per floor laundry could be hard to get sometimes
Over 4 years ago
Not a lot to complain about.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, reasonable management, apartments are reasonably sized with all the "luxury" amenities like dishwasher, central air, pretty good sized kitchens. Quiet area. Don't try to take advantage of you every year for more rent. Doormen are a little less formal which I like. Front sidewalk is the cleanest section on our side.
Cons:
Probably a little too many rules for my liking on principle but the only ones that affects me occasionally is moving furniture in requires that coi. (Which is not uncommon) and doorman won't store large packages for you because of small lobby.
Advice to owner:
Maybe more communication? But maybe no news is good news though.
