Advice to the owners

Great apt building

Former tenant·Over 2 years ago

Home sweet hole.

Pros

This neighborhood used to be very vibrant and walkable in the past. LES has always been hectic but you can find pretty much everything you need around.

Cons

The neighborhood is changing a lot, crime is soaring and has gotten very bad. It is not possible to go out at night anymore and the area is full of cannabis dispensaries. It’s imposible open the windows without catching the smell. The building always smells foul and the laundry area is utterly filthy. I’d rather pay a laundry service than use the basement machines. The management is very disorganized, they frequently lose track of payments and sometimes aggressively contact you trying to double charge you for years old bills so you’d better keep all your receipts.
