Hoping For Quiet, This Is Not It.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Co-Op (no board approval) building in a quiet neighborhood. A lot of space on the top floor apt. A lot of light and summer breeze. Diverse culture of people in the building. European, Asian and African American. No weird smells (weed, cigarettes, food, garbage) Supermarket and laundromat very close. They have laundry in the building but it too small for my loads. Super is very helpful and friendly, just call him in advance as he has another job and works weekends
Cons:
Elevator stopped working 3 times within the last year. Recently broke down and has been broken for the past week. You can hear the F train in the distance(closest option). Wall and floors are thin. Really needs sound proofing. I can hear my neighbors downstairs when they're TALKING. Carpet is required or strongly recommended to combat the noise. Oddly enough no direct deposit, the landlord stops by every single month to pick up the check. Sucks having to schedule around it.
Advice to owner:

Former Tenant
Pros:
Excellent location, friendly doormen, very good superintendent, never any issues with heat or water.
Cons:
Heat is too high during winter, but can ask super to lower.
