Incredible building, awesome block
Pros
Generally great people in the building, apart from one troublesome neighbor on the 1st floor. Superintendent is one of my favorite people in the world — very responsive, takes care of issues promptly, is friendly and always willing to lend a hand with any affairs. The block is awesome with lots of great restaurants and shops, and pretty quiet during the night.
Cons
One older neighbor who always causes trouble or yells. Also, the occasional cockroach in the bathroom and by the garbage area in the backyard — but I've only really seen a proper "big" cockroach a few times. The heat would sometimes be off and I needed a space heater, but otherwise a great apartment.
Just don’t live here
Pros
Some of the units are renovated and have washer dryer which is nice. Location is great. The trash area is well taken care of.
Cons
Management is horrible they just don’t respond. Crazy neighbors that live on bottom floor that made me uncomfortable many times. Building is old and not well maintained/cleaned. Mice and bugs. Heating was off for over a week in the winter and water often went off or hot water was not on.
