Think Twice Before Living Here

Pros

-Good Location -Large Bedrooms -Ample Natural Light

Cons

Where to start...we had quite a few issues living in this building. Two of the biggest were that we had mice in our apartment and the landlord did not provide an exterminator. We also had smokers (cigarettes) living below us and could frequently smell the strong odor of smoke in our apartment and in the hallways. We complained 5 or 6 times about this, to which our landlord told us they we "unsure" of who was smoking even though it was clear where it was coming from. They did nothing to address the issue and exposed everyone in the building to secondhand smoke frequently. We also had mold in our bathroom, one heater had issues starting regularly, and our microwave broke 6 months into living there. When we asked them to replace it, they refused and told us that it had been left by previous tenants. Lastly, the man who does the trash for the building frequently yells outside in the morning and has made several tenants uncomfortable (he seems to have some sort of mental health issues). There's more to put here but bottom line is, the building's management is unresponsive and frankly negligent when it comes to the above issues.
