Older building, and it shows
Former Tenant
Pros:
Proximity to subway, price, good heating (when it’s turned on…)
Cons:
Unresponsive management company, rotting wooden floors, lack of insulation, loud building super who yells outside every single morning, unresponsive super, mold growth

great location to MTA
Former Tenant
Pros:
location , location , location
Cons:
laundry is only 2 washers 2 dryers for 4 buildings, owned by a management company who does nothing for packages stolen , building not secured
Advice to owner:
take better care of your bread and butter

Great owner and good noise control
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good management, responsive when you have any issues. Good noise control
Cons:
Saw one tiny mouse in the five years I lived here. Was immediately taken care of and I never saw one again. I live on the first floor.

you get what you pay for
Former Tenant
Pros:
- cheap rent, below market rate
- quiet neighbors, they got a loud guy kicked out so that was refreshing
- laundry on-site, it did take them 3 months to get someone out here and put in new laundry cards though
- nothing broke down so hadn’t needed to contact landlord but they seem nice enough
- trash was always well maintained and tidy, never got crazy
- never had issues with hot water/water pressure
Cons:
- had multiple packages get stolen / “lost”
- pest control came by once a month but I still had roaches
- AC unit louder than a car engine
- single-pane windows so could hear all the street noise, including people walking by talking. I’m a pretty light sleeper and always woke up several times during the night even with ear plugs in. Might not be an issue if you are ok with street noise. I have lived next to a construction site before but that ends in the evenings lol
- creaky floorboards that probably were put in before I born
- gets unbearably hot when the heater kicks in, I think it got around to 82 degrees in March or something. It was also loud as hell
Advice to owner:
cant complain too much, maybe put in double pane windows or something to block out street noise.

Great and responsive landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great landlord - understanding and responds right away
Minimal bug/rodent issues. I live on the ground floor for three years and have never seen a mouse *knocks on wood* pest control comes to spray once a month. Live in a rear facing unit. Walls are very thick and cannot hear much from neighbors. Good sound control.
Cons:
Workers in the building are not that friendly. Super is nice but is very busy and can sometimes take a while to head back from him.

Very nice for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location. Garbage management is good as well.
Cons:
It's old and common areas are not so clean.
Advice to owner:
Please check pipes and the cleanliness.

Nice enough place
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet building, great neighbors
Cons:
The super was helpful but he could be hard to get ahold of. Gotta be vigilant.
