Beware of superfund site nearby

Pros

The building and apartment is renovated so appliances are up to date and space is modern. There is laundry in the basement of the building. Only 4 units in total so the number of neighbors is minimal. They have monthly pest control and pests have never been an issue inside of the apartment.

Cons

It is across from a superfund site, so just be aware of that. The street itself is quite desolate which can lead to people dumping trash on the sidewalk. Heating system is electric, however, it is not very powerful. The insulation in the bathroom was also not great - when temps went below freezing, had to deal with frozen pipes a few times. Super basically said there was nothing they can do during each of these times and just told us to wait until the pipes heat up.
