Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for Saied Soleimani's buildings reveals a mixed management experience. While some tenants praise convenient locations, friendly neighbors, and supportive supers, many express serious concerns about cleanliness, pest infestations, and unresponsiveness from management, especially regarding critical maintenance like heating in winter. Garbage management and water pressure also vary widely across properties. Renters advise deeper cleaning, infrastructure upgrades, and more attentive management to improve living conditions. Overall, while a few apartments show positive experiences with timely owner responses, several reviews highlight neglect and frustration, indicating inconsistent management quality and the need for significant building improvements.

A borderline crack house

Pros

I like the neighborhood .

Cons

This building is disgusting. Filthy hallways, trash everywhere, and a super who vanishes the moment you need help. No heat in the dead of winter, rats literally brawling in the walls all night, and roaches crawling like they pay rent. When you dare to tell the property manager, you get called a liar instead of getting help. I’ve filed so many HPD complaints I could lead a training session there myself. This place is a disgrace — no one should have to live like this. Steer clear unless you enjoy misery and pest infestations.

Advice to the owners

Fix the building. It's falling apart

Do not rent here

Pros

There’s a laundromat in the storefront/basement level of the building so laundry is convenient.

Cons

Landlords are shockingly unresponsive, building management is abhorrent. Rampant roach infestation and rats in the walls.
