Good but sometimes unresponsive management

Pros:
Good building! Nice area and great tenants. Relatively clean.
Cons:
Aggressive year over year rent hikes. Super was sometimes difficult to contact. Only two washer and dryers for the building (9 units) that do not work that great.
Advice to owner:
Stop raising the rent so much every year.

Pros:
Really nice, friendly neighbors. Amazing neighborhood

2 laundry machines downstairs (though often in use)
Cons:
We had an issue with mice. We're not the cleanest (but not super messy) and it was a 4 person apt, so maybe thats why. Though it always got bad as soon as someone in another apartment moved in or out, so probs a building wide issue. They had an exterminator come by once a month but it didn't seem to help.

It's an old building with brick and the dust got very bad

Construction next door is loud and I'd get hives if I left my window open
Advice to owner:
Seal cracks in all apartments to combat mice.
Add garbage cans in front because it was always overfilling

Pros:
Recently renovated, nothing is falling apart. packages never get stollen, neighbors care about the upkeep of the lobby. Code key for the front door.
Cons:
There is no door to the laundry room so the whole building always smells like someones disgusting laundry/detergent. Laundry room is also dirty. Cleaner they use when cleaning the building also extremely pungent. Building just smells bad.
Heat circulation and distribution in the apartment is very poor. Some rooms are freezing while others are too hot. Windows leak. Pretty sure internal thermostat is broken.
Advice to owner:
Use a less smelly cleaning agent for the upkeep of the building.
