1962 maintenance has decreased

Please upkeep this apartment complex as though you lived in it!

We lived living here - but now under new management

Live-in super, convenient location, great grocery store across the street,

Street noise can get untenably loud
Advice to owner:
Wouldn’t hurt to upkeep common areas a bit better

Pros:
The apartment used to be owned by a great management company so for now many of the features are still in fairly good condition such as good hardwood floors and nice windows.
Cons:
We lived in the building for a year with no issues. After the building was sold we developed a mouse infestation. It’s been over a year and we have killed over 30 mice and the new management company are complete garbage. No effort is being made to keep the apartments liveable. They’re disgusting slumlords.
Advice to owner:
Try to care a little about the quality of life of your tenants.

Great super and great building community

Pros:
very quiet in the apartment (other than the bustle of the street)
very well maintained - cleaned and repaired/painted/etc constantly and without any prompting
super is incredibly responsive when any needs arise - he really takes his job seriously and it shows
spacious units with tons of closet space
rent stabilized
Cons:
noisy from the street for windows that face 8th avenue
walk up - no elevator
Advice to owner:
more soundproofed windows, I guess

Some neighbors were cool but the whole non-smoking building reeked of cigarettes and weed in common areas
Cons:
Super was hard to reach and slow to arrive
Advice to owner:
Enforce no-smoking requirements
