Former tenant·6 minutes ago

great neighborhood, so/so apartment

Pros

Amazing neighborhood, nice apartment with good amenities

Cons

Exposed external facing brick wall which lead to wisps of freezing cold air entering the apartment. heat is electric/tenant paid, leading to outrageous power bills. poorly exposed wall also meant lots of street noise -- its generally a quiet block, but on a truck route at night/sometimes people hang out out front. feels like its all happening inside the room.

Next to an abandoned complex

Pros

Usually pretty clean inside, laundry in the basement and responsive maintenance

Cons

Right next to an apartment building that’s been abandoned since 2019 that occasionally becomes a trash heap. Rats very active on this street - especially on trash days. Few mice made their way into the building for a short time.
