Great location, fine building
Pros
Great location, affordable rent for the area, decent sized rooms and closet space, good water pressure
Cons
Heating issues in the winter (literally did not have a radiator for the first 2 years of living there), pest problem (mice and small bugs), very absent landlord
Advice to the owners
Hopefully they’ve gotten the heating figured out.
Living in 246 Pacific Street
Pros
- owner is very nice and accommodating - rent doesn’t go up by too much every year - location is great
Cons
- building overall is a bit dirty (no one really cleans the hallways and entryway) - there was a mouse that would pop in and out of my unit I think there was a hole behind the stove - the maintenance was unreachable if you had an issue you wanted to get fixed (ie they had to come into my unit to fix an issue for my downstairs neighbor, cut a hole in the wall, and never came back to patch it up) - not sure if she lives there anymore but there was a woman who would be screaming all night randomly (I think she was getting in fights with her spouse)
Advice to the owners
Maintenance needs to be more responsive to tenants
