It's fine for a walkup
Pros
Great location, neighbors keep to themselves, decent sunlight, good water pressure, no absurd raises at rent renewal
Cons
Way too hot in the winter, stairs and common areas are old and dirty, no laundry in building
Advice to the owners
Clean apartments before move-in. Be more responsive to maintenance requests.

Took 3 months to get our fridge replaced. Hot water out frequently.
Pros
Location is close to shops and transit, quiet and safe neighborhood, parks nearby, responsive to emails.
Cons
Takes FOREVER to fix things - important things like hot water or a broken fridge. Some bugs (nothing crazy for the city though).
Advice to the owners
Don’t make people wait months for a new fridge or days for hot water
