Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Rosetta Bruni reveals consistent issues with maintenance and landlord responsiveness. Several reviews criticize poor heating, pest control problems, and general building upkeep, citing outdated facilities and unclean conditions. Garbage management and water pressure receive mixed remarks, and noise levels and neighbor relations vary but tend toward low satisfaction. While some appreciate the building’s character and outdoor spaces, frustrations arise from a lack of communication and slow resolution of urgent concerns. Tenants advise improvements in building repairs and owner engagement to justify rental costs and better tenant experience. Overall, expect challenges in responsiveness and maintenance under this management.

Out of maintenance building

Pros

Cool interior with lots of character decorated by a previous tenant who passed away from old age and lack of heat in the winter

Cons

Everything In consistent heat and hot water. The staircase looks like from an abandoned building

Advice to the owners

Sh*t show.

Pros

No pros. You’re over paying for apartments that haven’t been renovated In 10+ years and a non responsive owner who won’t even text you back during an emergency.

Cons

Everything. When I first moved in there was an amazing super who was so nice and did an awesome job. Now I don’t even know the New supers name or number. The landlord will never ever respond and when they do it’s full of accusations like late rent and they don’t even care about what you’re trying to tell Them. One of the younger girls in the building told me she was trying to tell them that her lease is ending and she’s moving out and no one has gotten back to her at all since January. The building is so poorly managed there was even a time in March where we didn’t have hot water for two weeks. There’s tenets that leave gigantic unopened packages in the hallways for Months and won’t answer the door when you knock and there’s been roaches on the two bottom floors forever.

Advice to the owners

Get it together or sell the place.
