Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for buildings managed by Albert Dweck reveal a mixed experience. Some residents praise responsive management, clean and well-maintained properties, effective pest control, and quiet, friendly neighbors in select locations. Convenient online portals and timely resolution of maintenance requests are appreciated. However, several reviews highlight significant issues including pest infestations (rats, roaches, bed bugs), poor heating, negligent management responsiveness, inconsistent rent practices, and safety concerns such as unshoveled snow and faulty building infrastructure. Multiple tenants describe certain buildings as rundown with unprofessional ownership practices. Overall, renters should expect variability—some buildings are managed well, while others suffer from neglect and poor landlord communication.

Reviews

Former tenant·7 hours ago

Two years and still happy

Pros

I've been with Outpost for two years across two different properties. There have been a few bumps along the way - as there always are - but the team has consistently addressed things when I've raised them, and the overall quality of life here is genuinely good. The community of tenants tends to be interesting, open-minded people. The locations are great. And the support team have always been warm and reliable. I'd renew again.

Cons

No significant problems

Good for a short stay, bad for a long one

Pros

Spacious, nice flooring, good sized rooms (for NY)

Cons

Cockroaches, mice in the winter, ants in the bathroom, unresponsive management
