Nice building, management not so much
Pros
The building is new and in nice condition. It's reasonably clean, not very noisy, and there seem to be no issues with pests. (Beyond the odd roach coming out of the drains if they are left open.) The location is amazing. The rooftop has a fantastic view of the city. The laundry in the basement is convenient and reasonably priced, though there is only one washer and one dryer, so you often have to wait, and the dryer isn't very powerful. Having storage lockers available is convenient. You can hear the train go by, and cars on the street, but it's not too bad. Same with the neighbors — you can occasionally hear them, but not so bad.
Cons
The management is confusing and at times frustrating. They are slow to reply, and when they do, their replies are often confusing. Think single word answers to detailed questions, no forewarning of maintenance or visits, random changes to who you are supposed to contact, etc. If you have no issues with the apartment, this likely won't matter. But if you do...
Overall decent apartment
Pros
The building was new there was good plumbing, and good insulation.
Cons
The apartment was located right in front of the J train line, so it was quite noisy.
Advice to the owners
Put in better security system so packages do not keep getting stolenI’m
