Great apartment, highly recommend
Pros
Washer dryer in-unit. Very quiet building-never had noise issues but my unit faces the back. Maintenance issues are always fixed quickly. Nice, normal neighbors.
Cons
Honestly, can't think of any cons. I've lived in NYC for years and this is the best apartment I've had.
Renovated studio in great location but…
Pros
Fantastic location, short walk from the Q. Most units are fully renovated and have dishwasher and washer dryer. Building super was nice and responsive.
Cons
Experienced problems with heating not working several times in the middle of winter. Water pressure was always low and plumbing had problems occasionally. Ceiling near the window in my unit started leaking, but the landlord just had someone paint over, a few days later water damage was noticeable again. Building stairs are steeper than average. Landlord didn’t proactively send a renewal lease, I had to inquire but decided to move out after a year.
Advice to the owners
Need better maintenance, not just bandaid fixes.
