Rude landlord, but not the worst place

Pros

-front garden area -master bedroom has private entrance -neighbors are lovely

Cons

-property owner did not return deposit despite saying he would -many things about the apartment are not up to code (including the massive hole in the floor covered by a metal plate by the back entrance that the landlord warned us not to mention to the insurance lady who came after the house flooded) -the basement level flooded numerous times while I lived there -shower drain is constantly becoming clogged and landlord refuses to admit that there might be something wrong with the plumbing and not our hair

Advice to the owners

Please do better.
