Not bad for the price, could do better

Large space, reasonable rent

For the amount of space, it seems like a good deal on the surface: - when moving in, the apartment was infested with roaches. - to throw out the trash during the spring/summer, be prepared to walk through dozens of flies in the staircase outside (make sure you ask to see the area where garbage is maintained, it’s gotten better but still has room for improvement) - management is incredibly slow to action on issues - neighbors have been a nightmare, most of the problem neighbors are gone but someone constantly steals packages

It’s not bad but also not good

Pros

The unit is functional. The windows in the bedrooms are probably the only redeeming quality for this apartment.

Cons

The master bathroom shower head leaked 24/7 causing mold all the time. The noise level, well it’s NYC. There’s cockroaches all year long. It doesn’t matter the season. Washer and basement is always filthy. The busiest street in the neighborhood.

Advice to the owners

Responsiveness can be better and pest control needs to be better.
