Super is Useless
Former Tenant
Pros:
The owners are very kind and responsive.
Cons:
The super is absolutely useless. God forbid you have a problem he has his ill mannered wife answer his calls.
Need a repair, “oh I can’t they make me pay out of pocket and take too long to reimburse me”
Have a leak? “I suggest buckets I can’t go there until next week” (he lives in the same bldg!!!!! )
Have a broken hallway light in the building.”Everyone has cell phone with lights now, it’s not that dangerous. I’ll be there this wknd or next” (again lives in the same bldg!!!)
Will not take off shoes to enter apartment. Even got him foot coverings from my hospital and he says he can’t wear them.
If you hear people walking around on the roof (homeless people come constantly) he advises you call the cops because he does not want to come check the door to the roof as thats not his job.
