Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for buildings managed by Seon Alliser consistently report significant issues with cleanliness, pest infestations, and poor garbage management. Residents frequently cite unreliable and unresponsive management, inadequate maintenance, and frequent utility problems including poor water pressure and heating inconsistencies. Security concerns, such as package theft and nonfunctional cameras, are common, contributing to an overall stressful living environment. Despite some appreciation for rent-stabilized units and convenient location, tenants do not recommend these buildings due to management’s lack of responsiveness and failure to address critical infrastructure and safety issues. Prospective renters should expect substantial challenges with upkeep and landlord communication.

Awful place to live

Pros

Nothing! I was miserable here.

Cons

Super dirty — people let their dog go to the bathroom in the lobby. Rodent issues, even had a rat IN my unit. Unreliable supers, changed frequently, and one was really creepy (showed up near midnight to help me). Management is not responsive. Hot water often did not work. Mold everywhere and my unit was not cleaned well before I moved in. It was actually quite disgusting. Did not notice a fire alarm in my unit. Neighbors screaming and police showing up at night.

Avoid this building

Pros

There are rent stabilized units. Heat and water was included.

Cons

People steal your packages, super is unprofessional, landlord is rude, huge roaches and water bugs cause the building is so old. I would not recommend living in this building at all.
