Review Summary for Joseph Attard
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews of buildings managed by JOSEPH ATTARD indicate a mix of experiences. While some tenants appreciate the quiet environment and excellent water pressure, others have faced issues with cleanliness, pests, heating, and unresponsiveness from the landlord. Challenges include outdated apartments, pest problems, lack of maintenance, and poor landlord communication. Residents have suggested better landlord responsiveness, pest control measures, and overall building upkeep to enhance the living experience. Despite some positive aspects, improvements in maintenance, communication, and building conditions are needed for a more satisfactory tenant experience.

Great gem in the EV
Former Tenant
Pros:
Live in Super was great. Quiet building in a bustling area.
Cons:
Very few updates to the apartments or building in the last 100 years.

Terrible and Unresponsive Landlord, Huge Pest Problem
Former Tenant
Pros:
Spacious, good location, super is helpful
Cons:
Landlord was very hard to reach, and the building has a serious rat problem. Additionally, the building has had no working cooking gas for over 7 months and the landlord refuses to offer concessions.
Advice to owner:
Do better

1800s peasant lifestyle
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large rooms and big windows
Cons:
Dirty, infested with mice, rats, cockroaches, spiders, centipedes and more. Satanic symbolism carved into my closed door. Paint peeling off the walls, black mold buildup, rust in the bathroom. Toxic living conditions

disgusting dirty Hell Hole
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location
High ceilings
Wall paneling
Nothing else
Cons:
Had a mice infestation due to multiple holes in the wall and was not taken care of in a timely manner.

Gas leak which caused our gas to be shut off for 6 months. Can’t control the water AND heat temperature either. No ventilation or air flow.

I can hear every movement of the man upstairs. Constant stomping and noise from the lobby is extremely distracting especially with trying to work from home.

When I complained about this all to the landlord; they basically said they didn’t believe me and that I can get out of the lease if I want to. Thanks for nothing!

My superintendent also aggressively knocks at 7am in the morning and expects us to let them in. Does not go away when we say we can’t answer the door or does not call in advance. The maintenance man also doesn’t even wear a face mask.

The repairs that were made to my apartment could’ve been done by a 5 year old.
Advice to owner:
Listen to your tenants and don’t tell them to not contact you about the problems wrong with your building.

Make your employees keep their masks on at all times.
