Pros
I've lived in this apt for 13+ years and am very happy with my experience here. It is a multi-family home but I barely ever see my house neighbors. I have never had any problems with them or the landlord either. It's far enough from the city to have a more home like feel but accessible to city by train. I love being close to the bay when I want to be by water but not be around so many people like at the beach. And it's relatively safe in this neighborhood and more specifically this block. It's pretty quiet. In the summer you can hear kids playing in the day time and the occasional bbq.
Cons
It is a bit dated but we have been here for years so at the time, the style was in. It is also about a 10-15 min walk to the train which really isn't bad but something to consider. The area also can flood sometimes but being on the 2nd floor, it never really affected me. I haven't heard it affecting the downstairs neighbor either but I also wouldn't know.
Advice to the owners
Keep doing what you do! Between tenants, updating certain parts of the home would be nice.
