Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for Peter Lehr's buildings highlights responsive management and generally well-maintained properties, with many appreciating the super's helpfulness and prompt issue resolution. Buildings are typically clean with effective garbage management and good heating. Noise can be an issue due to pre-war construction and lack of soundproofing. Tenants note friendly neighbors and reasonable rent increases, especially in rent-stabilized units. Some concerns include package theft, limited laundry/trash room hours, and occasional pest presence, though these are often addressed quickly. Overall, renters value the location, upkeep, and attentiveness of management, making these buildings a desirable choice despite some minor drawbacks.

Reviews

Former tenant·9 minutes ago

Great building with an excellent super

Pros

Location is perfect, neighbors are friendly, many long-term residents, super is very responsive, building is relatively well maintained

Cons

Floors aren't soundproofed whatsoever, so if your upstairs neighbor has heavy feet, you'll hear it. Laundry and trash room closes at 9PM (8PM Sundays). Certain minor cleanliness things that are to be expected in a rent stabilized building

Advice to the owners

The laundry and trash room should be 24/7

Cons

Common areas could be cleaners, garbage chute could be emptied more often.
