Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for buildings managed by David Kra reveal a stark contrast in experiences. Some properties suffer from severe issues like lack of heat during winter, low water pressure, poor pest control with rats, and general neglect leading to unsafe conditions. Reports highlight unresponsive ownership and problematic tenant behavior tolerated by management. Conversely, select buildings receive praise for cleanliness, quiet neighborhoods, helpful superintendents, and convenient locations, though owner responsiveness can still be limited. Overall, renters should expect inconsistent management quality, with some buildings well maintained while others face serious operational and safety shortcomings under David Kra's oversight.

NO HEAT in Winter &Low Water. Tenants have actually Died in their apartments!

Pros

Gornisht, Nichts, Shum davar

Cons

NO Heat in Winter! Tenants have actually Died in their apartments! Every few weeks or months someone is getting carried out in a Body Bag by EMTs and NYPD. Also Low Water Pressure & only Luke Warm/Cold Water. Some Tenants move out Before the Slumlord/Landlord has a chance to K!ll them! Unlike the previous Superintendent, the new one is an Incompetent Mor0n who doesNot know how to operate the Boiler. This gave the Slumlord the excuse to NOT give Heat at all. If You want to D!E in your apartment this is the apartment building for You !

Advice to the owners

Turn ON the HEAT in the Winter and Fall Months, else more HPD Violations/Tickets and De@d Tenants in their apartments!!! And Increase the Water Pressure and give Hot Water.
