Decent building, decent management

Pros

The location is excellent. The building is fairly quiet, although some neighbors can occasionally be noisy / pets will make lots of sounds. Management and building maintenance are reasonably responsive, and the exterminator comes around every month. Rent increases have been reasonable every year, although units feel slightly overpriced for what they are.

Cons

The halls, basement, and public spaces are sometimes dirty. In my unit the heat has been slightly on the weaker side, and the water pressure is also a little weak. Although maintenance is responsive, they tend to implement fairly hack-y fixes for issues - for example, they will paint over things instead of doing proper repairs. Package theft is an issue since packages are just dropped off in the entry way.

Pros

Living near the express stop is great. Area is super convenient.

Cons

Prewar walk-up can be a workout.
