The apartment, the super, the responsiveness of management.

Some of other tenants do not dispose of their garbage where they should so it could get filthy sometimes

Bug-infested building with no frills

Pros

Relatively cheap units compared to rest of Manhattan. ~20 min walk to Central Park and ~10 min walk to subway. Super was live-in and decently responsive!

Cons

No sunlight. Lived on first floor, and there were roaches, mites, rats, spiders, and bugs of every kind. The floor is not sealed properly so all of them get into your home. Package theft was rampant.

Advice to the owners

Properly seal the rooms from the outside!
