Review Summary for Michael Niamonitakis
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Tenants of Michael Niamonitakis's buildings generally find the apartments spacious and well-located, with friendly neighbors and a responsive landlord, especially during emergencies and difficult times. Cleanliness and garbage management receive mixed feedback; common areas like basements and laundry rooms are often noted as needing better upkeep. Pest issues and occasional maintenance delays are common concerns, with some renters highlighting security problems like package theft and inadequate building access control. While heating is mostly functional, noise levels can be disruptive, especially facing busy streets. Overall, management shows responsiveness but would benefit from improved preventative maintenance and enhanced security measures.

Not unliveable but not great.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location and close to prospect park. Lots of stuff to do in the neighborhood.
Super and owner are pretty good at responding to emergencies.
Laundry in building.
Cons:
Building security is bad— lots of stolen packages.
Windows are super thin and the street is very noisy and busy.
Windows are broken (many don’t stay up without propping or are very stuck)
Several leaks through out my time in the building.
Super/owner are slow to respond to non emergency maintenance requests.
Shower does not drain properly.
Repairs can sometimes require tenants to clean up after them.
One of the 4 dryers in the basement has always been broken.
Advice to owner:
Do more preventative maintenance.
Add security measures for mail.

Review of apartment 3c
Former Tenant
Pros:
Landlord for apartment 3c was great. Very supportive during the pandemic and understanding around rent reduction
Cons:
The super, Abraham, has a huge attitude with doing anything, rarely calls back as promised and gives his clients a hard time for having issues. Also packages were frequently stolen in building.
Advice to owner:
Get security cameras to prevent package theft
