clean, quiet, well maintained... just keep an eye on the heat!
Pros
- small apartment building, which means it's pretty quiet! - gorgeous tree lined street - neighbors tend to be seasoned Park Slopers (read: friendly, on the older side, clearly care about their block and its upkeep)
Cons
there were multiple days, particularly near the beginning of the calendar year, where heat was completely turned off. during an NYC winter, this is obviously a problem; the radiators were turned on again shortly after we notified management, but just a heads up that they may turn them off when folks are gone over the holidays etc. !
Cramped, but Okay
Pros
I liked the tree lined streets, wood floors, and nice (though small) appliances.
Cons
Management is not attentive or friendly, stairs aren’t kept clean, neighborhood is loud (nearby bars, clubs, etc) thiefs regularly get into building to steal packages, and units are far too small. Feels like a dorm room essentially.
Advice to the owners
Pay more attention to the property and tenants.
