clean, quiet, well maintained... just keep an eye on the heat!

Pros:
- small apartment building, which means it's pretty quiet!
- gorgeous tree lined street
- neighbors tend to be seasoned Park Slopers (read: friendly, on the older side, clearly care about their block and its upkeep)
Cons:
there were multiple days, particularly near the beginning of the calendar year, where heat was completely turned off. during an NYC winter, this is obviously a problem; the radiators were turned on again shortly after we notified management, but just a heads up that they may turn them off when folks are gone over the holidays etc. !

Cramped, but Okay

Pros:
I liked the tree lined streets, wood floors, and nice (though small) appliances.
Cons:
Management is not attentive or friendly, stairs aren’t kept clean, neighborhood is loud (nearby bars, clubs, etc) thiefs regularly get into building to steal packages, and units are far too small. Feels like a dorm room essentially.
Advice to owner:
Pay more attention to the property and tenants.

Small space, but everything was great. Landlord & super are kind, building is clean, quiet neighbors and quiet street!

Good location I guess
Cons:
Fred is fake friendly but actually a stereotypical greedy landlord. When he decides he want to raise your rent he will beg for access so he can make “upgrades” and push you out. He will be your roommate.
Advice to owner:
Be less greedy

Pros:
Location - it's hard to beat. Prime location in north slope with great access to subways. Building is quite well-maintained too.
Cons:
Folks from the management company are quite abrasive, dismissive, disrespectful and also don't honor their words.
Advice to owner:
Change a person to manage the apartment.
