Recent tenant reviews of buildings managed by Spring Leasing and Management depict a mixed experience. While some accolades are given for cleanliness, garbage management, and maintenance, there are significant concerns about owner responsiveness and tenant relations. New Management is a nightmare

Pros

New building which ensures a certain level of upkeep and quality you can't find with "historical buildings".

Cons

Building management, Spring Leasing, is an absolute NIGHTMARE. Do yourself a favor and google how many legal issues this company has become entangled in. They are incredibly negligent to tenants' urgent needs and any "fixes" that are miraculously tended to are done so quickly, cheaply, and often leading to more issues down the road. Classic case of a large housing management company aware they have the upper hand and taking advantage of that against tenant requests, complaints, and concerns. Highly advise tenants to carefully track their accounts as I experienced a double charge for rent that they initially wouldn't refund until I escalated to representation and then they magically were able to rectify the issue immediately with a prompt refund. Spring Leasing is like that sketchy used car dealership everyone knows not to buy from. There is a reason Spring Leasing has lost the 2 legal cases brought on by tenants, and it is due to their brazen harassment/unethical business practices.

Advice to the owners

Building management knows they have the upper hand and they need to respect the tenants' requests. At the moment there is no functioning process to request maintenance issues (the online portal they refer you to has been broken for almost 2 years...) Please respond and fix these requests in a timely manner rather than forcing tenants to gather and complain for months and months before any action is taken.
