Nice apartment but beware of Landlady
Pros
I did like the location of the apartment and the building (for an old brownstone) was relatively well maintained.
Cons
When I was moving out there were a couple (2) of scuffs on the floor from where my bed sat in the “bedroom”. I needed to move my bed around slightly to be able to make the bed because the space was so small. Betsy, the landlady said that because of the two scuffs in the bedroom, she would need my entire security deposit to re-do all of the floors in the entirety of the apartment. No no. I had a flooring company come in on my own accord to give an estimate about what could be done about the scuffs. A simple re-staining. She fought me on this for weeks and still gave me my security deposit back late. Her husband is an attorney (I’m not sure what kind).
