East Williamsburg Oasis
Pros
This apartment was such a steal in an otherwise completely inaccessible neighborhood. 1BR with a shared backyard at a reasonable price. Extremely convenient, it’s 1 block from the L train but it’s still quiet because it’s on a one way street. This little section of Williamsburg has still retained the charm that’s sorely missing from the Bedford stop.
Cons
Ever since a building management company took over, interactions about building concerns have become much more annoying.
Best Landlord I ever had in NYC
Pros
Well maintained, and landlord is super responsive. He even offered that if there were any upgrades we would like to make to the vanity in the bathroom, that he would cover the cost.
Cons
There was a smoker in the building that definitely impacted the smell of the building. Didn't smell it too often in the unit. Walls of units on the thinner side.
Advice to the owners
Area well maintained, owner responsive, no advice.
