Pros:
Super is very responsive They take care of apartment concerns Change garbage daily

*THE WALLS ARE PAPER THIN* Appliances are extremely dated Rent doesn’t match quality of rental Neighbors are loud and dirty Can only pay rent through cash or check Packages are often stolen Rodents/ Roaches Older residents passing away and causing roaches and rodents
Advice to owner:
Truly the issue with the property I would say first and foremost is the residence. They’re loud, have no manners and are very dirty. There are 3 people who manage the property and I think they do very well but unfortunately the people in this building are lazy and have their children take care of their responsibilities for discarding garbage which causes issues with rodents and such. Also, the rent can only be paid through cash or check to a mailbox that is taken care of by the super or it has to be dropped to a distance address which causes issues such as checks being lost or even issues with rent being taken care of. It’s 2022 and there should be automated systems for withdrawing rent. This comes off suspicious.
I’ve had packages stolen too many times to count and usually the ones that are stolen are labeled or appear to be expensive goods. The fact that there are no cameras is also very concerning as the apartment is close to the projects and has had drug users lurking by.
