Great Building and Neighborhood

-Conveniently located to the 7 train at 40th Street -Well managed building
Cons:
-Radiator heat, can not control the heat and becomes extremely warm during the winter -No AC, requires window units

Close to the train, shops, laundromat. Very convenient, clean, and quiet street. Large apartment room
Cons:
Noise from neighbor who is not considerate anyone but oneself. Loud music almost every evening just like listening in the same room! Stay away from 3rd and 4th floor.

Close to the 7 train, great food nearby, dog park, farmers market, bars and grocery stores nearby.
Cons:
No noise mitigation at all. Upstairs neighbors played music 24/7 and must have had and indoor bowling alley. You could hear every fart from every apartment at all hours of the day and night.
Advice to owner:
Follow up on people using carpet/rugs/ anything to ease the sound problems

Modern, But Dirty

My apartment was remodeled right before I moved in. It had a great open layout with modern finishes in the kitchen and bathroom and beautiful dark wood floors throughout. Really looked luxurious.
Cons:
The landlord is terrible. Unresponsive and rude. The neighbors were quite loud and many smoke weed, so the smell intermittently permeates your unit. The entrance, lobby, and stairwells are filthy. They’re only cleaned every other month. Roach carcasses, trash, and cigarette butts abound. For the cost of rent, that’s pretty unacceptable.
