Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants renting buildings managed by David Green consistently note cleanliness and decent garbage management, often crediting attentive tenants for upkeep. However, major issues persist with pest infestations, especially roaches and rodents, which management has been slow or ineffective in addressing. Water pressure problems are common and sometimes severe. Heating generally works well, but neighbors and noise levels are frequently problematic, detracting from the living experience. Several renters critique the landlord's responsiveness as slow or dismissive, with some requiring legal intervention to prompt action. Overall, while some repairs eventually occur, tenant satisfaction with management communication and pest control remains low.

Worst landlord hands down

Pros

The building is kept clean and the garbage is taken care of because we have a very good tenant in the building who manages it.

Cons

Water pressure terrible the roach and rodent issue is terrible. I thought the issue was with my apartment from previous the previous tenant, but I can to find out it was the entire building. I’ve also found had mice run out from out of nowhere in the kitchen, bedrooms and living room. I could also hear them running though the walls. There were no window guards installed when I moved in and it took him nearly 3 years to get them installed for me . Ignored all my calls and messages for nearly two years until I spoke with a lawyer and started calling the city and even then nothing was done. The apartment was never painted when I moved in, nor was it cleaned from when the previous tenant left.

Cheap. As of 2020/2021, this 3 BD/1.5 BA was $2000.

Cons

Tons of roaches. Tons. Absolutely disgusting. Landlord did nothing to address. Laundry in basement, dryer routinely broken. Landlord did nothing to address.
