Cute building with quirks, terrible landlord
Pros
It’s a beautiful apartment with good old bones. Large living room.
Cons
We had a mouse problem. The building is “newly renovated” but everything was done cheap. We had a number of maintenance issues and we were always blamed for them despite it being a structural issue. More than one we would bring up water damage issues in the bathroom, and we’d be told to “take less chaotic showers and make sure the door is closed” The electric in this building is also messed up I.e switches in other rooms turning other rooms lights on and off. And the floors are uneven. We were even charged for damage that our “open refrigerator” caused to the floor. Even though the water damage was no where near the refrigerator. The landlord was often also just hard to get ahold of and wait 3-5 days to respond.
Advice to the owners
Please recognize that you will have a good tenants who love the building despite the quirks. We would have lived here for a long time if it wasn’t for your treatment.
