Former tenant·58 seconds ago

Heat problems in winter

Pros

Management relatively responsive

Cons

Electric heaters only at least when I lived there, huge electric bills in winter, a pipe froze one winter, lots of leaks in the building leading to full on flooding of basement/stairwells. Loud parties next door

292 Hawthorne Street

Pros

Renovated unit was very nice, great in unit washer/dryer, all appliances were awesome! The unit got great sunlight throughout the day, very bright.

Cons

The building was great, the tenants were great, the neighbors were awesome! The only reason we left was that there were a number of shootings directly in front of the building. We understand that this is just a part of life sometimes, however, we felt unsafe being outside at risk of being caught in a drive-by.
